Greetings!
After a week full of exciting presentations, demos, posters and especially keynotes AKSW members are back from the 11th Extended Semantic Web Conference 2014 (ESWC).
Furthermore, we bring happy news with us. AKSW members won four prizes this year! In detail these are:
- AI Mashup Challenge Winner: conTEXT – Lightweight Text Analytics using Linked Data (Ali Khalili, Sören Auer and Axel-Cyrille Ngonga Ngomo)
- Best Student Paper: Hybrid Acquisition of Temporal Scopes for RDF Data (Anisa Rula, Matteo Palmonari, Axel-Cyrille Ngonga Ngomo, Daniel Gerber, Jens Lehmann and Lorenz Bühmann)
- Best 7-year paper: What Have Innsbruck and Leipzig in Common? Extracting Semantics from Wiki Content (Sören Auer and Jens Lehmann)
- Best WASABI Workshop Paper: CROCUS – Cluster-based ontology cleansing (Didier Cherix, Ricardo Usbeck, Andreas Both and Jens Lehmann)
